I don’t think humour is dead, following Count Binface is such a typically British humour phenomenon, and has got me captivated at the moment. To Binfinity and Beyond!

I like live comedy, I’ve seen a few big names, I thought Bill Bailey was brilliant, he’s so multi talented.

The best comedy of the 2000s for me was Gavin and Stacey, I’ve watched it so many times but still spot new little bits every time, the writing and sense of timing was phenomenal.

Oh how could I forget G&S! “Don’t mind if I do, don’t mind if I don’t!”

I used to listen to "I'm Sorry, I'll Read That Again" under the bedclothes on my little tranny as it was at 10pm!! - after bedtime. Loved it.

Victoria Wood, yes indeed, although I didn't care for "Dinnerladies" as much as her series of 6 half-hour comedies.

The original B&W St Trinian's films and also The Great St Trinian's Train Robbery. I don't know how they got away with some of the double entendres!

"I'm Sorry, I Haven't a Clue", particularly the older ones with Humphrey Littleton, the master of the deadpan delivery (even more than Jack Dee, who is also good at it, IMO).

Les Dawson, Ken Dodd and Willie Rushton for me. Also, we ran a shop for twenty years and I so much.miss the banter and humour.that is to be found in daily.life in a shop. Bit like "Open all Hours " really!!

I'd forgotten Dads Army. What a great team of actors. Made it a very successful comedy. One of the best.

And also, the 1981 slapstick comedy film, Caveman, with Ringo Starr! OMG! I was on the floor laughing!

Read the actor credits at the end, they even mention the dinosaurs!

Magenta8 - The Odd Couple, I've seen it 3 times over the years, absolutely LOVED it, and I loved Jack and Walter, such lovely people and great entertainers! Also, The Thrill of It All with Doris Day and James Garner had me dying with laughter!

Julie Walters, and Kathy Burke from Gimme Gimme Gimme both make me cry with laughter, so do Julian Clary and Michael McIntyre.

Also British-Nigerian Gina Yashere, and British-African Ola Labib, and Ramesh Ramanathan.

Sanford and Son, Married With Children, various others.

ISIHAC is cracking me up these days. quite norty but laugh out loud. Love all those old R4 faves, as well as HIGNIFY and the golden oldie Yes Minister.

What a cheering thought they all are for this afternoon
