pre booking things.

I can understand that prebooking helps people to organise and cater for occasions, and I used to be happy to book in advance for the Great Yorkshire Show or RHS garden shows or events, when you might get a couple of pounds off the price, but there was always the option to pay on the day.

However quite often these days there will be only prebooked tickets. If you have the kind of disability that you know what you are likely to be able to do on any given day, you are able to make choices. However these days I dont know what I will be like from day to day, so cant book for something in advance. If there is a limit to numbers I also would not like to take a ticket and not use it when someone else might have gone., and of course I am happy to pay to visit somewhere but wasting the money and not going doesnt help either!

This year I havent been able to go to any of the yellow book gardens so far, but live in hopes of going to later ones. Anyone else have similar problems and any good ideas ?
