‘Silly Cow’! So pleased she was rescued and a huge thank you to the firefighters! They do such an incredible widespread job.

Does anyone remember when the evening news on telly always used to end with 'and now this...' And it would be an interesting or upbeat story that made the news end on a positive note.

I would have thought that in the age of the interwebz that there would be a website that only features good news, but I think bad news sells better.

I actually very rarely look at the news. I just find it too depressing.

But thanks for the news about the cow. An uplifting story.

I think it was Reginald Bosanquet that used to do that and I know once there was a story about a cat up a tree and he could not stop laughing…

Animals do get stuck in awkward places. Glad there are people who will take the time to rescue them.

There's always positive news if you get too depressed. My late friend used to subscribe and I miss it. I miss her more!
