Never. My worst nightmare! Imagine never being under a tree, hearing the babble of the proverbial brook, children’s happy shouting when playing or coming out of school, dawn chorus… Never seeing a field of corn, a wood full of bluebells. Oh no, not for me. Terracotta for me, as 2Jags John Prescott famously said. 😂
It depends really. At the moment I most definitely would not want to do it, but if it came to the choice between living on a cruise ship or going into a care home then give me the cruise any day, not that I could afford it!😅
A definite NO from me- in an odd way I’d find it claustrophobic and I’d miss being able to enjoy a cup of tea in the garden whenever the fancy takes me!
No thank you. Especially after seeing a couple of documentaries about when things go wrong on these ships. I know that's really rare but the idea of being stuck on a vessel in the ocean is a bit scary. If you lived on it, I suppose you'd spend a lot more time in your own room, doing your own thing though.
I have come across a couple of people who spend their lives permanently cruising. They actually live on board and some pay a sort of rent to keep their suite. I couldn’t stand it, personally but I suppose you do meet a lot of different people from different countries. The main cruisers we come across are Aussies, Kiwis, Canadians, Americans and South Africans but not a lot of others except if you go over to Singapore where Chinese and Malaysian people like to cruise.
