Appealing to Saints.

These are so funny
😂😂😂
No I suppose I’m too practical and not so much a dreamer

Thought you were talking about my footie team - the Saints ( St.Kilda) - AFL I mean ( Australian Football League) . Us supporters are fairly few and far between because we seldom win ! 😃

Whingey

Apparently statue is buried upside down with the words we know you don't like it but we will dig you up when the house sells

😱😱😱

A statue of the Child of Prague in the garden to ensure good weather for a wedding has never let me down.

To me it sounds like pure superstition, but rather charming. Any result is just coincidence.

Amazon sell statues of St Joseph for that purpose !
I do pray to Saints for intervention.

My go to has always been St Francis, especially if it's a problem with animals. I have heard it suggested that we should really pray to newer saints because the well known ones are so overworked.

St Jude’s pretty good!

The patron saint of lost causes, she’s helped all three of my children, they have no idea though😉

This sounds more like superstition, and sorcery than anything religious. Yes, I pray to St Anthony when I lose things, but I think by quoting this mantra, it sets off a process in my mind that triggers memories of where I have left the object rather than being any divine inspiration - and i say that as someone who is still a catholic - sort of.

I wasn’t told that fact Whingey
I must remember for when I want to sell.

Sometimes, I just like to believe in some kind of divine intervention

Pure coincidence.
