Simon has posted a hastily removed tweet from Farage about the RNLI on his instagram page…thankfully people copied it before Farage deleted it….

Maremia

All those people worried about an invading army of men of fighting age.
And that army was already among us.

Spot on, Maremia I am astonished that anyone can defend them.

As a sailor, and supporter of RNLI for much of my life, I am disgusted at the attitude shown by these morons. Yet should they ever get into trouble at sea the RNLI will still go out to help them, in the same way that the Mountain Rescue do on land, where stupid people deliberately go out in the wrong sort of clothes, no maps and thinking the world can begin and end with their wretched mobile phones. I am proud of the small efforts we have been able to contribute whilst at sea , helping to look out for casualties, and know how much they do with no expectations of any reward or to be on wretched social media, just the wonderful knowledge that another human is saved,

Good for him, I’ve made a donation to the RNLI specifically because of the nastiness they’re getting.

He sounds amazing - and these days, he must be pretty brave, which is sad. I hope the RNLI has a boost in donations after the disgusting amount of abuse its volunteers have suffered (again) over recent days.

RNLI fundraiser for 'Flying Farage' hovercraft jumps £5,000 after far-right thugs attack hero volunteers. The total now raised is £336,000.

This social media satirist lives close to me.

He fundraises, for great causes, but in a very “un-pc” politically motivated fashion.

He’s a “normal” dad with young children, and at least one of them is neuro-diversive.

He took to posting in our local area, on social media, after someone shouted at his autistic son in the park, and his popularity just grew and grew.

He uses “political satire”, for want of a better expression, to raise cash via gofundme for good cases.

As the headlines suggest, his latest fundraiser is for an another RNLI hovercraft type rescue boat.

Anyone else know of him?

His name is Simon Harris and I think he’s brilliant!
