I think it all depends on which authority you come under.

my housing are doing me a wet room instead of shower over the bath, something i can no longer manage. the architect came out last week to say it can be done, which i did think anyway as a gentleman neighbour had his done. next week the OT is coming out to see me and probably check if there is anything else i need. i did say that a shower chair maybe a stool for the kitchen to perch on when i do jobs, perhaps a few grab handles as my balance is not brilliant. i suppose things like that will get worse. they told me that the wet room will be done by Christmas. i suggest you could chase them up as things can be slow. i was helped by my support worker from the HA
