Good morning, Michael and all GNs from South Yorkshire where I don’t think we shall see the sun today.
We are very sad here as one of our neighbours had a stroke and has a bleed on the brain. She is in her early seventies, very fit and we are all in shock. I saw her walking her dog early yesterday morning and now this.
My nephew and his wife and two of their grandsons came yesterday afternoon for lunch. The eldest boy is four this week and his younger brother four months. I had a lot of fun with the older one, once he stopped being shy, and the icing on the cake for him was to be allowed to “play” my piano! I have a double piano stool - just right for duets😁! I was absolutely exhausted come evening though and went to bed early after watching the story of the Bayeux Tapestry on iPlayer. The mechanics of getting it here and exhibiting it was fascinating.
Today I must defrost my fridge and empty it ready for the new one to be delivered tomorrow. The rest of the day will be spent doing a lot of nothing!
Have the best day you can, folks.
