Took this photo last night at about 8pm. Undulatus cloud formations are not rare (this is the cumulus type) but these spanned the whole sky and were illuminated by golden sunlight. Not great for flying (bumpty-bumpty-bumpty) but breathtaking to look at.

Being out in the sticks, we get a lot of good sunsets, but this one is the best we've seen in 20 years. DH came haring into the shower room, calling me to look-look-look! I followed him to the deck and stood gawping, then ran for my camera. It was a few minutes before I realised I was stark naked! (It's OK, we're only overlooked by one house and they're night birds, so I doubt whether anyone was driven half insane with uncontrollable lust...)
