Despite having my phone number and email address, I have received an appointment via the post from the hospital. So this only arrived late friday pm , for an appointment this monday morning!. As it is for an eye appointment, I cannot drive myself, it is too late to get the hospital car service, or our community car service, so I am left with only the possibility to go by train. I feel so annoyed, as they know how bad the postal service is these days, yet do not give enough time to contact them or rearrange the appointment time, especially as it is for a monday so the weekend means that there is no chance to contact anyone anyway. It is worrying enough to get an appointment quickly, and appointments should not be wasted, so I am now attempting to organise the trip when there is not even anyone to speak to at the railway station.
Things like this do not improve anyones blood pressure or worries about being able to get there in time!!
