ROMILO, I'm so sorry about your cat. It's something every cat person dreads.
I thought that it was now law to report this cats being run over. hugs

I’m so so sorry! Someone did this exact same thing to my son’s cat, right outside his house! Their dogs barking alerted them to their poor cat screaming.

Slightly better outcome, poor cat in animal hospital recovering from surgery. thanks

I just give up with some people, she must have felt something. So sorry 😢
Some drivers have no care or consideration, the other day my husband who us disabled was trying to cross the road either me assisting him and a car mounted the pavement to avoid a lorry on a narrow road nearly knocking my DH over who cannot move fast, indeed if I hadn’t been there to pull him back I dread to think what would have happened. A passer by rushed to see if he was ok, physically he was but had become very upset and agitated so the passerby offered a lift in her car, just goes to show on the other side of the coin how kind people can be.

What a dreadful thing to do and not even have the decency to stop. I too cannot understand people like this. I’m really sorry. sad

Gosh how callous.
I remember how bad I felt running over a squirrel. That was a few years ago, still makes me cringe with the sound.
Do you think she realised?

Ah, I’m so sorry. That person is an absolutely disgrace. Thank goodness for that lovely kind stranger. R.I.P your little cat. 🩷

Aveline Mon 12-Oct-26 13:52:54

Awww thats awful. The poor puss. How rotten to just drive on. Its good that there are nice people in this world like that lady who stayed with him and contacted you.

TerriBull Mon 12-Oct-26 13:49:06

So sorry that's really horrible flowers

midgey Mon 12-Oct-26 13:48:01

I’m sorry to hear about your cat, such a horrible way to lose him. Sometimes people are horrible, luckily someone restored your faith in humanity.

HowVeryDareYou2 Mon 12-Oct-26 13:46:40

How awful. I'm so sorry for your loss. We had the same thing twice. It's so upsetting when a beloved pet dies, especially in such horrible circumstances. If it's any consolation, your boy would probably have died straight away and not felt any pain. x

Oreo Mon 12-Oct-26 13:46:28

How sad and awful ROMILO
At least a kind person stayed with him.So miserable to lose a loved pet in that way.

Shel1951 Mon 12-Oct-26 13:36:42

What a miserable human being, I hope the sparks from her thighs set fire to her knickers

ROMILO Mon 12-Oct-26 13:29:15

Yesterday someone ran over our much loved cat. This woman didn't even stop to see if he was hurt. He died on the side of the road. When did people become so callous and uncaring? On a more positive note a total stranger who saw it happen moved him to safety ,found our phone number on his tag and stayed with him until we got there. Today he is at peace his garden. flowers
