Summer duvet still on & no heating needed yet however the insulation in this newly built (17 year old) development is excellent.

Nice as it means I can spend my pensions on more frivolous things. Lucky me.

It was down to 2deg here last night so yes, I’ve felt the cold. I no longer have Dh to keep me warm in bed so the electric blanket keeps me warm at bedtime.

No, I’m not ready to give up my sandals until the end of October. Today though I was out in the garden and felt that late afternoon autumn chill. I came indoors and had a lovely warm shower.
