Michael Crawford is flipping 80!!

Just listened to that kitty. What a range his voice had then.

Gosh, I knew he was younger than me but hadn't realised that much younger !
Saw him at the Sydney Opera House in the early 90's in " Phantom of the Opera ". Exquisite What a show. !

I thought he was much older and surprised he was only 80.

Saw him in films, Hello Dolly and The Joker (?) and Some Mothers, then Phantom; what a revelation!

I love him! Some mother's do have them was watched in our house and drove my mother mad. Her name is Betty. ?. I thought he was amazing in Phantom of the Opera. Happy birthday to Michael.

Happy Birthday Michael. I`ve seen Phantom, and loved it, but wish I could have seen his version.

Brings back memories of the 70s when we were young and our children were toddlers. We loved ‘Some Mothers Do Have Them’ such innocent fun!

I sat on Christmas morning and howled with laughter at SMDHE when Crawford played the Angel Gabriel in the nativity with disastrous effect.

My claim to fame........ he lived very near to me back in the sixties and I served him in my Saturday job at the local shop where I worked. He was a regular customer, so lovely, always very polite, no side to him at all.

I thought he died several years ago!
