I have had a vibrator for least 15 years. My partner at the time bought it for me. It wasn't particularly good, it was a solid plastic gold one with no shape to it. I was in a long-term relationship with someone who bought a more realistic vibrator and we had a brilliant sex life with or without it. By the way it wasn't my idea that they bought them, they surprised me! It definitely makes your sex life more interesting! I've been on my own for four years now, apart from a few dates and I'm not in a relationship and I bought one on the Internet from Anne Summers. The rampant rabbit variety! I think it would be better if it was a more realistic colour. It's vivid pink. I use it quite frequently, but not every day! Ha ha! It's definitely no substitute for the real thing and to be honest I'm fed up with being on my own and often feel depressed and lonely. I'm on various dating sites but haven't really met any men I like, they're either too young, too far away, or I don't fancy them. I sometimes lie in bed thinking what if I popped my clogs in the night and then my daughters found it when they had to clear my house out?!

I know it has been explained on page 2, but I wonder if I was the only gransnetter who was typing ground up wasp nest into Google by half way down page 1!

You would love having fun with it with your partner, introduce him slowly to it and see the reaction you will both have. I have used one for years both with or without my late husband. Great fun and no different to other sex aids, that IMO all have a place in a healthy sex life.

I just think how embarrassing it would be for my relatives if it was found after my death. So no I don't have one.

My godson who is a confirmed Batchelor and very prudish hosted a party at his house. I walked into the very small kitchen to see my seventy five year old sister-in-law had one of the neighbours pinned up against the back door telling her all the merits of the rampant rabbit poor woman looked like a rabbit herself caught in the headlights. I left the kitchen quickly chuckling all the way. He would have been mortified had he known he said "that's quite enough of that" when some one said boob at the dining table, worst still he's only 40.

when I had problems with my libido my doctor recommended a vibrator and some erotic literature ,still have the vibrator somewhere a dozen years later ,I suppose I should throw it out as the rubber will likely have perished

I once had to phone a pupil's mother and ask her to come and collect her daughter's 'pencil case'!! It was months before that poor mother could bring herself to come to open evenings again.

My, now retired, colleague "won" a vibrator at an Ann Summers party some years ago. She was a very keen gardener and had a greenhouse with a lot of very expensive and delicate plants that only required minimal watering. So she hooked up the vibrator to an inverted plastic drinks bottle filled with water; pierced a small hole in the end of the bottle and then switched the vibrator on. Result was that several plants received a light shower of droplets of water for as long as the battery on the vibrator held out. Pity it was bright pink, otherwise you'd never have noticed it!

An online website called Etsy has been advertising Oak Galls which are something to do with wasps breeding in trees and the resulting growth is called an oak gall. They have been recommended for tightening up the vagina and Drs are warning this is dangerous as
a )the vagina doesn't need any help
b) it can cause all sorts of problems with natural secretions

Etsy have stopped advertising although other retailers are still selling them.
