At least as I grow older I have more time to spend with my grandchildren. Its a pity that my body won't let me do all the things they want me to!

age has never bothered me, its how you feel and how much fun you have that matters

i use to worry about getting old and not being able to enjoy myself as much, however its true what they say with age comes wisdom, I am so much happier now, contented and enjoy all aspects of life, I feel I now have time to appreciate things and people more, plenty more patience and more zest for giving everything a good go and trying new and different things, which when I was younger would not dream of doing

I'm enjoying time with my grandsons and they are certainly keeping me feeling young. Fun and more fun!

I look forward to getting older so when my husband retires we can spend quality time together and not be rushing round doing jobs every weekend

I was really shy as a child and a teen and wouldn't speak up for myself but as I've aged, I've grown in confidence through experiencing life, different jobs, and meeting new people. Now you can't shut me up for talking and trying to help people!

Someone said "when life gives you lemons, make lemonade". So I try and see the positives in situations, rather than dwell on the negatives.

If life gives you cupcakes, eat them! Grab every opportunity!

The best thing about being old is being a nana and being able to hand back your grandchildren to their parents. All the fun, none of the stress!

Have now developed the attitude that age is purely a number and you have to live the best life you can. Laugh and love, enjoy and have fun

The thing I don't like about getting older is that my body seems to be falling to bits in subtle little ways!

I always feared getting older until my granddaughter pointed out that every wrinkle on my face was caused by a time where I had laughed till I cried.She commented that I must have had lots and lots of happy times.Now I embrace those new wrinkles and hope to look like a crinkly prune by the time I get really old.

Getting older has made me rather more grumpy about little things and mainly how ungrateful so many people who have so much are!

I do not like feeling invisible sometimes but I am enjoying the confidence that comes with age. I feel I can take anyone on and stand my corner. I am
also now able to stand up and speak in public and to go places alone. Just the aches and pains I hate
