We've always got something fabulous up for grabs here on Gransnet. If you've got any questions about a prize or would like to discuss what you've won with fellow gransnetters, feel free to post here.

Also - do check your emails around the closing date of the competition you've entered. If you've won, we would have emailed you the details. Don't forget to check your junk mail, as sometimes our mails slip through the net.

Best of luck!

I had a lovely day with a friend in.London yesterday visiting the Country Living Spring Fair. We were suprised at how big the fair was. It took us several hours to get round and we came away having spent a bit of money and having tried lots of free samples. Well worth a visit.
Thank you Gransnet

Just received an email to tell me I have won a DVD of the Sound of Music because Julie Andrews answered my question. Can't wait!

Just want to sincerely thank Gransnet and the relevant publishers for the 3 books that I have received over the past month or so - 'Best Dressed Pets', 'I Love My Granny', and 'The Ship'.

Reviews have been uploaded for the first 2 titles above. I hope to start reading 'The Ship' tomorrow (which I've been really looking forward to), so a review for that will be forthcoming.

Many thanks again, people.

Received my copy of Girl on a Train today, bit taken aback at first, I thought oh gawd what I have ordered off e-bay now (I buy a lot, I tend to forget!) - but pleasantly surprised to see a book - ty Gransnet (I tried to explain Gransnet earlier today to a friend, I said it's the next stage on from Mumsnet, the one before OneFootInTheGraveNet smile

My copy of Not Quite Nice arrived yesterday, thank you. I read it today.

I like Celia Imrie as an actor however I have to say I was disappointed by this book. The characters were, on the whole, shallow and unpleasant and I found the storyline flimsy. It's a thumbs down from me I'm afraid.

Thank you very much for my copy of Not Quite Nice which arrived yesterday on our return from holiday. Celia Imrie is one of my favourite actresses and I'm looking forward to starting this.

How rude! I forgot to say thank you. Apologies!

annodomini Sat 07-Mar-15 10:53:46

Mine arrived this morning and I'm looking forward to getting started on it. I heard a discussion about it on the radio the other day - I think there was a minor spoiler but the speaker was quickly diverted.

I am thrilled to have received a copy of The Girl on the Train. I see the author was born in Zimbabwe and I love Zimbabwean writing. Thanks a ton!
