my nine year old keeps pinching mine, guess its on the birthday list

I have never used an ereader. I am desperate to get one though so that I can reclaim space in my living room and bedroom (books everywhere )

e-readers and books have been a god send to people who travel like me but like to read books and instead of bringing loads of books which add weight to your luggage you simply need one device with lots of books added.

A large proportion of ebook readers are pensioners and needed no convincing. Could you be more specific?

How do you convince a pensioner to use an e reader?

I love reading e-books on a holiday. Especially e-reader is handy when on a plane on a long journey- it is light and and easy to carry around.

I love to read books and have never tried a E-Reader, but I would like to so hope I win this prize

Ive got an e-reader - its great...so light and easy to carry with you - its nice to always have something to read.

Absolutely no knowledge or experience of them,now that I have made my admission, I must add that winning one would certainly be a bonus I would both appreciate and relish.

Do you know how many books you will write and publish in a defined time?

e- reading is less stressful to the eyes as the readeris illuminated and the text can be made larger if required to suit your vision

e- reading is the latest technology which will overtake books in the future

e- reading is less hasle than a book as its lighter to carry and to hold

Which do you prefer E-books or as I call them proper books and would you change your style of writing for one or the other

I didn't think I would like e-books but I find it a convenient way to read on holiday

I think I could read in bed with one of these and not disturb my lovely long suffering hubby, would make for an even happier marriage, a winner in every way.

I realy would like an Ereader. I still like my books but now I'm having to spend time at hospital appointments etc an Ereader would be Ideal. I lke to keep my books in good condition but carrying them around all the time they start to get a bit battered & that grieves me.

I love using an e-reader because it means I can snatch 5 minutes to read my fave books when my granddaughter is napping.

I'm really impressed with my new second hand e-reader...so light and handy for passing time waiting for appointments etc ... reading a good book helps the time fly!

I have never read an E book although my son and his wife are great fans. I appreciate that they are so much easier to read when travelling, especially when luggage is restricted. The half a dozen books I like to take on holiday can be quite bulky and heavy!
However
I LOVE the feel and smell of a new book.
I LOVE to read in bed at night and feel my eyes shutting as the book drops to the floor!
I LOVE to scour charity shops, car boot sales and jumble sales to add to my already vast collection.
I LOVE to lend a book to a friend and discuss it over a glass of wine.
I LOVE to attend our monthly book group and listen to the members' varying views on a large variety of books.
MAYBE if I win an E- reader I will LOVE that too!

I love books, and reading books, but would love the opportunity to try ebooks to decide for myself, although I feel that people will still want ordinary books. There is nothing quite like the smell or the feel of a 'real' book.

I had an early kindle which has been read to raggedness and I now crave a newer, faster eReader.

I'm a newby but I think converted already. I cant see a downside to e reading. Having said I think all children should have books and there wonderful colourful pictures

I like reading books on e Readers/tablets on holidays and weekend.
