I need reading glasses but I get frustrated with how close I have to bring object to my face to see. Seems different things require different placement. I've often resorted to just taking my glasses off and bringing the object inches from my eyes.

Reading, crafts, computer, diy, etc, etc..

To see my gorgeous grandson properly - when he was born I held him in my arms and just thought 'Aren't you cute?', then I put my glasses on and couldn't think straight for falling in love with him!

I have reading glasses for all close up work, but now also glasses for distance for when I'm out and about, sometimes I get them muddled up and have a wee panic moment :/

Sewing, knitting, reading, writing, rithmatic (if I ever need to do any). I find I am using them more and more as the years go by but the optician is still happy for me to buy them at the supermarket.

I use reading glasses when using the computer at home and work and at work for reading the on calll lists as I find the print is too small.

It was originally just for reading small print but now I find I need them more and more,using the computer , sewing knitting etc. Thinking of having them on a chain round my neck!!.

I have noticed recently that apart from reading I now need my glasses for working on the computer and for when I'm writing letters - yes some of us still use a paper and pen!

Everything from reading the computer screen, to threading a needle

I need them to read my book, recipes and sadly menus too now

I need mine for reading food labels!

Need them for entering comps, then maybe ill do them right

I need my reading glasses for not only reading books but for doing family history research online. Also, I've noticed the papers seem to be using smaller print - or maybe it's just my eyesight!

I spend a lot of time on-line (I'm a Digital Champion helping others to to use computers and the internet) so my eyes become more tired during the day so adjustable reading glasses would be ideal.

Off the shelf glasses are useless for me as I have astigmatism in both eyes. I swear by Zeiss varifocals, they enable me to read everything without changing glasses.

The very expensive ones automatically halve all caloric values

So many things I have them in every handbag and room! Seeing who is calling before I answer the phone, threading needles, putting seeds in compost, reading postcard adverts in the shop window, putting batteries in, for my Kindle etc etc. Just bought some recently that hang around the neck then clip together at the bridge. Brilliant for use in the kitchen and a bargain from China.

I have reading glasses which I only need to use at dusk or when house lighting is on. I can manage without them if I'm reading outside in the garden in sunlight.

Glasses are important for my day to day in everything otherwise whatever I would be doing is a blur

I need it for reading, using my tablets, computer, sometimes in the kitchen, threading needle. I would love to win one for myself. X

I find supermarkets difficult when trying to read the small print on the labels. Also labels on clothes before putting them in the machine. It feels a chore to get my reading glasses out for these things.
