We've got our hands on 6 pairs of Eyejusters to give away!

Eyejusters are the near vision solution we’ve all been waiting for: Adjustable focus reading glasses. Eyejusters are a single pair of glasses to replace all your reading glasses.

The glasses have two small dials tucked behind the frame to adjust the lenses for each eye independently. They allow you to move the in-focus zone at any time to the desired distance. You can adjust the lens power from +0 to +3.00D, covering the range most commonly used in daily life. You need only one pair for all close-up activities.

You could also give the glasses away as a present for your husband or children, who refuse to get their eyes tested...

Eyejusters lens units have been developed and manufactured in-house, in the UK. The technical design fits into normal, stylish frames. For more details, take a look on Eyejusters' website.

Can you imagine a day without your reading glasses? To win a pair of Eyejusters (you get to pick you own style), tell us about all the activities you need reading glasses for these days.

This competition will close at midday on Friday 10 June.

Reading, reading ,reading!! I get through about three books a month. Also knitting and crocheting tiny things.Lots of toys for grandchildren, I am currently making Tim Peake!

In the shops trying to check for certain contents for the different needs of the members of family and sometimes friends. Needlework, reading book/magazines, the list goes on. I have tried varivocals at great cost and just can't cope. I've resorted to glasses on neck chain but look so old and the glasses sometimes get knocked. Have to keep going back to get them adjusted from the constant on one minute off the next, these sound ideal if they actually are as simple as they sound.

I use reading glasses for shopping, using the computer and reading. I even need them when collecting my granddaughter from nursery as I cannot see the names on the paintings.

Reading the calorie value on the back of a Mars Bar!

I mislay my glasses often ( that's my excuse and I'm sticking to it !!)

I use reading glasses for working on my laptop, sewing, reading, using my phone. I wear varifocals to drive as I need them for the distance but also need to be able to see the instruments but I cannot wear them to do the things that I use reading glasses for and I defo cannot wear the vari's all day like I should - they give me a headache if I wear them walking around. I would love to try eyejusters for close up stuff.

Reading books, labels on clothes and food, threading a needle, using my tablet.

I wear varifocals for convenience but only actually need them for close work, they're not great for reading in bed though. I have reading specs dotted all over the house and still sometimes can't lay my hand on a pair.

I've definitely reached the point where my arms aren't long enough grin Even telling the time on my watch is increasingly difficult.

Reading the ingredients and nutrition information on labels, do they print it small deliberately

Barb5 Wed 11-May-16 21:01:59

Reading, using the computer, craft work (threading needles, making jewellery, etc, etc). Anything intricate with the pets (ear cleaning, etc). Sadly, getting to use them more and more :-/

Oh, everything - laptop, books, letters. But recently I'm convinced that the supermarket has made the writing on the shelf edges much smaller than they used to be because I can't make out a word on them without my glasses!

Reading, I pad, looking at maps and reading menus when I am out.

Jinky2 Wed 11-May-16 20:29:54

Map reading when I am out walking in the hills.

I do have reading glasses - which I mainly use when I'm on my laptop/work computer. They aren't very strong though, so I have a habit of wearing them around my house/the office!

Dannydog1 Wed 11-May-16 19:00:03

Reading instructions etc on food, reading, changing granddaughter's nappy etc etc

hildajenniJ Wed 11-May-16 18:40:01

I wear varifocals, so have no need for extra reading glasses. I couldn't do without them!

I need my reading glasses for Reading, sewing, threading needles, computer work, and reading food labels in the supermarket.

I have been prescribed glasses for reading for 20 years - long distance for 5. Yes I can't manage without the reading ones now but I have never used the long distance (except for driving) and keep them in the car. My Mother started relying on hers as soon as they were prescribed and within a few weeks was entirely dependant on hers. I sometimes think that this would have been the case for me too. I don't get headaches or have problems viewing TV so see no need to be 'trapped' into buying something I don't need. I have a sight test regularly but only buy reasonably priced glasses (plus I keep many £shop pairs all over the house because I can't be fussed with having to locate my 'best' for small tasks).

I wear contact lenses and need to wear glasses to read small print.

mainedrops Wed 11-May-16 17:21:08

I need them for reading and the computer

jt75 Wed 11-May-16 16:31:14

For reading occasionally.

Indinana Wed 11-May-16 15:24:04

I used to have distance sighted glasses for driving and for the TV, but got so fed up with having to keep swapping to reading glasses, that I decided to try varifocals. However these are no good for really close work, like sewing or working on the desktop computer editing photos. So I always keep a pair of off-the-shelf reading glasses by the computer and my sewing machine.
These Eyejusters sound fantastic! I know I would make so much use of them because although the supermarket reading glasses work, my sight is slightly different in each eye, so they're not perfect.

janeyf Wed 11-May-16 15:23:20

I need them for reading, for watching tv and for sewing

chloe1984 Wed 11-May-16 14:41:54

To read the calorie count on food packaging

trisher Wed 11-May-16 14:30:36

More and more things! It used to be just small print in books, now I need them for instructions on packets, recipes, threading needles, the computer, menus etc. These sound brilliant, but please could the clever inventor(s) get to work on making a pair that are easily findable (making a noise or something). I did think that something on my phone to locate them would be good, but then I realised I would need to know where my phone was!
