I love the warmth of summer when I can pad around the house barefoot, it feels like freedom! Its the bugs I don't like about summer - flies and wasps that seem to appear as soon as we get settled outside to eat something!!

I love the hot weather! I thrive in warm sunshine and enjoy walking with friends, or simply sitting in the garden reading a book. I don't like dropping my favourite ice-cream.

My favourite thing about summer is getting some peace to read some books and my least favourite thing about summer is people who leave their dogs and children in hot cars.

The days are longer so you can do more, but the nights are too hot.

I love summer, it's my favourite season, when the children were at school it was my favourite holiday .. six weeks with them at home .. heaven, I still love summer as much, the garden grows well, which is perfect .. the worst part is it ending... and autumn setting in.

The best thing about summer is the way it makes people feel more relaxed, friendlier and altogether happier.

The worst thing are the nippy little midges that spoil many a Scottish summer evening. I wish they would just buzz off especially as they are strangely attracted to me.
