I think what I dislike most in the summer is heavy, oppressive weather and the tumultuous thunder storms we’ve been suffering in the small hours of the morning. I wake up hot, clammy and still tired after a broken night’s sleep.....The pleasurable thing at this time of year is the time I get to spend with my 5 year old granddaughter, currently addicted to waffles with Nutella on top!

My favourite thing is spending long days outdoors with the grandchildren having picnics in the park, exploring the woods and days at the beach.
My least favourite thing is the heat during the night as it makes it difficult to sleep.

Love longer, lighter days.
Hate the fact that the winter seem to last so much longer than the Summer

Favourite thing - being by the coast with the sun shining and a beautiful sea breeze
Least favourite - humidity and feeling sweaty and uncomfortable

I love outdoor swimming.

I find coping with everyday life hard and tiring during a hot Summer.

My favourite part of summer is all the delicious smells! The smell of the sea on my skin, the smell of the cool woods, the smell of the sun in my hair, the smell of homegrown tomatoes freshly picked, the smell of all the beautiful flowers that come out to say hello

My least favourite part of summer is always knowing that it has to end and knowing that the cold, dark, long nights of winter will return - which is just the price we have to pay for summer, I suppose...

Best thing is seeing my Granddaughter for our annual Summer holiday. The worst thing is moths....I hate them and am convinced they hate me too !

Least favourite is the night-time heat and the best part is the early sunrises.

My most favourite thing about Summer - not using the central heating, or tumble drier/waiting days for laundry to dry on indoor airers, therefore saving money!
My least favourite thing about Summer - having to work (hard) in hot temperatures, for the NHS, without any/proper air conditioning, for many hours and then, not being able to sleep properly at night, due to the heat!

I love watching Wimbledon whilst eating strawberries and cream.
I hate being bitten by horseflies, they give a particularly toxic bite!
