We're celebrating Roald Dahl Day on 13th September by giving you the chance to win a Roald Dahl costume and collection of six Roald Dahl books for your grandchild. We have two prize bundles up for grabs.

It has to be the BFG. He is lovely in the book and even better in the film. A real gentle giant.

My favourite is Charlie from Charlie and the chocolate factory. He was kind and caring . Plus he had nothing and look what he ended up with a chocolate factory. We can only dream of that

So many good stories to choose from but i love the BFG as such a good story with lots of fun words. very enjoyable read.

Mr. Poppy from Esio Trot. He's such a kind and gentle soul. He's very shy too and loves his neighbour Mrs Silver. I won't spoil the story-line, but it's impossible not to love this character when you read how he tries to woo his love.

I loved George from George's Marvellous Medicine because he inspired a childhood of making secret potions using my parent's talc, bubble bath and all manner of things I could find in our house!
