My first festival last year - and again this year! It's the Green Gathering in Chepstow and I go with my daughters and their families. Love it - the music, the food, compost toilets, being me, feeling free, feeling part of something wonderful, gentle and with like-minded, kind and welcoming people of all ages. I dance, I sing, I talk to people and live a dream youth which was never mine.

I love being in the company of my granddaughters who are young and so full of life, they are so funny, it helps to forget the aches and pains, and troubles in this modern world.

Waking up to sunshine and listening to birdsong.

Hanging out with friends and having a giggle, playing games and eating at fun fast food restaurants.

Being at the seaside with the sun on my skin looking at the beautiful beaches and the sea and hearing the shrieks of happy children enjoying the simple pleasures of playing in the sand and in the sea. I can be ageless and just enjoy being there

I feel young being in the car with my husband listening to music from the 70's talking about where we were, who we were with (still friends with most of them) and our then plans.

My grandchildren keep me young. I don't want to look stupid around them so I like to keep up to date with latest technology etc so that they don't think I am too much of a dinosaur!
