I feel so young when I hear music from the 70's and 80's it takes me back to my younger care free days when I was a Disco Queen and I could dance like nobody is watching.
I might have some more wobbly bits now to jiggle about and a few more wrinkles but for those moments lost in music I am back to my youth.
Music perks me up, keeps me sane, is great exercise and it takes years off me. I am a dedicated Mum Dancer with moves that would scare off the dog!!
I downloaded some of my childhood favourite books for my Granddaughter , and started reading them , I was transported back to when I was a child , reading my borrowed books as I walked out of the library ,
Sweets that make me feel nostalgic, music that reminds me of younger days, good company, laughter, motorbikes and staying out of hospital for longer periods!
Chatting to my friend, we have been friends since we were 13 and once we get together the years melt away and we are like naughty school girls. So much fun.
