It's that time of year again...

If you are stuck for gift ideas for family/friends, look no further than our round-up of the best books for Christmas. From psychological thrillers to women's fiction, autobiographies to cookbooks (and everything in between), there really is something for everyone.

And, as ever, we are giving one lucky person the chance to win everything featured on the page...worth over £800. All you have to do is tell us, on this thread, who you'd most like to find under your tree this Christmas (and why).

We will be drawing a winner at random at midday on Monday 16 December. Terms and conditions apply - more details on the page.

I would love to see my two sons under the Christmas tree, I haven't seen them or heard from them for the last 30 years. Divorce is such a cruel thing!

A revocation of Article 50 so that I will not witness the break-up and decline of the UK in my lifetime and can feel more confident of a decent future for my children and grandchild.

I,d love to find my mum under there. Since she’s gone I have realised how many things I just never asked her about, but would love to know. Family history, things we did when I was much younger. She would have all the answers and more!

My pippa! Apparently, I was the apple of his eye but I didnt appreciate him or that fact when he was alive. I would like to ask him about all his family and, if I dared, why my mum (his daughter) was so weird.

I would love to find a man from the National Lottery under my tree with a cheque in his hand, made out to me of course, for a million pounds. Don’t want to be greedy just one million would be okay!

I would love to find my four grandchild under my tree - Liam 11 and Ronan 10 live in New Zealand I have met them once and because of health issues I can’t go to New Zealand. Isaac 4 and Ava 2 moved abroad (with the British Military) just before Christmas 2018, I miss them dreadfully as I helped with childcare. But they are all happy and thriving and that is the main thing.

I'd like to find my Nan under the tree! It's been twenty-two years since I lost her and her unconditional love and I miss her every day. I'd ply her with sherry and mince pies and we'd giggle at life's absurdities just like we always used to.

Love to find my Three grandsons under my tree this year , the last time i saw them over the Christmas period was four years ago. Which to small boys can be a lifetime, to see their faces in real life rather then over social media would make Christmas oh so magical. smile
