It's that time of year again...

If you are stuck for gift ideas for family/friends, look no further than our round-up of the best books for Christmas. From psychological thrillers to women's fiction, autobiographies to cookbooks (and everything in between), there really is something for everyone.

And, as ever, we are giving one lucky person the chance to win everything featured on the page...worth over £800. All you have to do is tell us, on this thread, who you'd most like to find under your tree this Christmas (and why).

We will be drawing a winner at random at midday on Monday 16 December. Terms and conditions apply - more details on the page.

I'd love my Husband to be there - but as he USED to be,
Before the Alzheimer's that is taking him from me.
He used to be witty, and loving, and clever,
I miss this so much, and my every endeavour
Is to keep him healthy, happy and as content
As possible as a person can be with Dementia.

I'd like to find Kamala Harris...she would have a few days before Joe's inauguration and I'd love to find out more about her route to success - plus she has the best laugh ever!

Susie Dent to help me with my Christmas crossword.

Holly Willoughby

I would like to find my Dad. I've not seen him since September. So that would be great.

Ebenezer Scrooge so I could give him a piece of my mind!

jhocknull Mon 09-Nov-20 11:48:19

Both of my grandchildren. I'm hoping that it really will happen this year. We all have our fingers crossed.

My sister Kerry who passed away in 2008, life especially Christmas has not been the same without her

adrisco Mon 09-Nov-20 12:12:12

My four grandchildren .. and my late mum who never got to meet her youngest great grandchild.

Colin Farrell as I have had a crush on him since I was a teenager. I reckon he’d be a great dinner companion and it would really annoy my teenage daughter as well

Kaggi60 Mon 09-Nov-20 12:18:42

I would pick Michael Buble because he always always does a Christmas album.

zabaglione Mon 09-Nov-20 12:20:32

All 5 of my grown up kids!

zabaglione Mon 09-Nov-20 12:22:35

because they are spread all over the UK & it would be great to have them all at home together this year.

I would like to find all my family so we could have a good old fashioned Christmas together and forget this awful year!

bevwillis Mon 09-Nov-20 12:27:24

All our 6 children with all their families because we haven't been altogether at the same time for so long due this pandemic. It would be so heartwarming.

AzzerUK Mon 09-Nov-20 12:32:57

My great grandaughter, I haven't been able to see her this year and it'd be wonderful to watch her unwrap her presents!

yoeydavis Mon 09-Nov-20 12:33:17

I'd like to find my Son, Daughter and, especially my Grandson. My Grandson, Greyson, has just had his first birthday so, even though it is his second Christmas he was just a newborn last year. I've never been a huge fan of Christmas; I used to get so stressed about it I could barely sleep in the run up to the big day. Having my first Grandchild has changed all that and I'm, actually, really excited for it this year. Having a lovely day with my closest family with an excited one year old will make me a very happy Nanny.

rainydays Mon 09-Nov-20 12:34:08

My dad, I really miss him and he loved Christmas so much that he made us all really excited too!

nettymay Mon 09-Nov-20 12:37:03

I would like to find Jamie Oliver under my Christmas tree - a Christmas Day with no cooking - Ho Ho Ho!

LOU1ASH1 Mon 09-Nov-20 12:46:41

It would be lovely to find my Mum and Dad to be able to talk to them again.

naomiwarren00 Mon 09-Nov-20 12:57:03

I would love to find a dinosaur for my son, he loves them!

Lovelykins47 Mon 09-Nov-20 12:57:11

My daughter and my three lovely granddaughters! All living in the USA and unable to visit me this Christmas. So sad!

trueblonde Mon 09-Nov-20 12:58:58

I would love to find David Cassidy as he was my first heart throb when I was growing up, I suppose for my sister we could find David and Donny Osmond for her
