Itss fine, there is very little in life that is not better shared with someone special

KaraGran Mon 18-May-20 15:51:30

I get super bossy and tell him how to do it properly.

Sinders Mon 18-May-20 15:41:01

I doubt my lazy, miserable old sod would ever want to get "involved" with anything!!!

ktmd Mon 18-May-20 15:39:56

It's great to share x

wildchild Mon 18-May-20 15:05:37

Not a problem - don't have a partner!

NanaShug Mon 18-May-20 13:10:38

I smile and share as always....!

miramarsimon Mon 18-May-20 12:17:48

Invariably, they're better at it than I was...!!! Bah..!!

scooter345 Mon 18-May-20 09:54:38

Anything practical!!

tashie5dug Sun 17-May-20 17:12:19

I boss him around so he loses interest. I'm not usually bossy.

Mcdavidfan Sun 17-May-20 16:32:42

What’s his is mine, and what’s mine is my own. ♥️

Simoncramp49 Sun 17-May-20 15:10:28

I don’t have a partner if I did I would get annoyed but keep it to myself or try to . As it important especially if it something very differcult it shows if your partner butts in it important and lovely they care

Angel379 Sun 17-May-20 12:16:34

I love to share with him

Fflaurie Sun 17-May-20 10:44:06

we would try it, but I know that some of 'my' activities are my stress busters, and, for him to join in would negate that, I couldn't be myself.

Coach Sun 17-May-20 08:50:20

it always end in a row

46lena Sun 17-May-20 08:46:29

I don't like that and I would ask him to step back.

pineapple99 Sat 16-May-20 23:54:51

Always happy to share with him. You never know how long you have so make the most of every minute!

My husband tries to take over/advise (!) whenever I'm doing anything, cooking, sewing, painting, gardening, whatever, unless there is sport on the TV in which case I have peace and quiet and can just get on with it. Can;'t wait for the footie to be back on.

He doesn't we have clear boundaries in what we both provide and bring to the table and do not tread on each others toes a happy combination no bickering over whose turn and keeping count of who has done what life is too short - appreciate the things that are done for you be appreciated for your efforts stick to where your strengths lie and you will both enjoy each others efforts

Maria66 Sat 16-May-20 22:25:11

He’s learning Spanish - I’m a languages teacher & am so happy that now he’s retired, he wants to share in one of my passions - I have to be careful not to correct him too much!!

Dannydog1 Sat 16-May-20 20:15:39

In lockdown he has virtually taken over the kitchen and I’m enjoying the break - so no, I don’t mind at all!

PatMiller Sat 16-May-20 17:10:55

Great question, I am fiercely independent so would not welcome it at all, I like to have my own thing! That said, it’s never anything major just my own exercise routine or diet plan...nothing huge. My hubby knows me well by now so it’s fine & he has his own things too, works well ?

grannynoggins Sat 16-May-20 11:33:58

I took up scuba diving when I was 50 and am now addicted. Hubby can’t dive for health reasons but he has joined me in the social activities of my dive club and we have made some fantastic new friends – win-win situation ?

SJPKGP Sat 16-May-20 10:34:42

Luckily we don't share many hobbies (maybe walking) He thinks all my stuff is 'boring' :-)

Susan56 Sat 16-May-20 10:07:38

I would be pleased that he was showing an interest but not so pleased if he tried to take over!

My husband, of 52 years who died 2 years ago, and I always did everything together...We shared everything, from me crawling under floorboards when he was doing any plumbing/electrical work, to him doing the sewing up baby cardigans which I had knitted. It kept us close to know each of us were happy helping each other.
