kelliec Tue 26-May-20 22:32:49

It would depend on what thing it was

ikkle87 Tue 26-May-20 22:27:31

I love when my partner gets involved, especially with the housework haha. I'm not brave enough to let him join in with cooking though, I don't fancy being poisoned.

portkey Tue 26-May-20 22:27:03

I'm happy if he wants to get involved

Igithaba Tue 26-May-20 22:21:32

Competition starts now.....

After 50 years of marriage I struggle to think of anything that is just mine! From day 1 everything is 'ours' and we are both happy with that!

Fairlyodd77 Tue 26-May-20 21:55:48

I dont have a partner ?

DebbyG Tue 26-May-20 21:36:56

We share everything so I would not mind

mamagill Tue 26-May-20 21:01:47

If my husband tries to do 'my stuff', I then go and start checking out his shed and tools, he can't stand it!

lyndseybruce Tue 26-May-20 21:01:04

I tell him to mind his own business! :-)

Angella Tue 26-May-20 20:56:50

It drives me mad when he thinks he’s being helpful by putting on the washing but even though I’ve told him countless times not to mix colours with whites he always does and my whites turn out pink!

CamCam12 Tue 26-May-20 20:09:54

Well I don't have an answer to this one but that is a benefit of being single!

happydays1960 Tue 26-May-20 19:33:56

I’m very happy for him to join in as long as he doesn’t take over.

hughese Tue 26-May-20 19:23:39

No partner, but I'd welcome the interest and help.

Greengablecat Tue 26-May-20 19:22:32

I don’t have a partner but enjoy family and friends sharing the same interests as me it’s not a competition

Ottodog Tue 26-May-20 19:20:07

It depends what it is really. If it's a household chore - fine join in. If he tries to take over my art or sewing then I would be less pleased

daisybooh Tue 26-May-20 19:10:17

On my own now but went fishing with hubby

stcuthbert Tue 26-May-20 19:07:17

juneski Tue 26-May-20 18:58:03

I love it when he takes an interest

JazzItUp98 Tue 26-May-20 18:57:01

I teach them the hobby and gift them the tools necessary

Borderkitt Tue 26-May-20 18:50:10

I would welcome it, we always have shared most things.

paulineb Tue 26-May-20 18:26:15

It depends what it is. I welcomed him getting involved in cooking and taking over the kitchen but I draw the line at him getting involved with my jigsaw puzzles. I think I might be a tad grumpy if he tried that one

lucycomps Tue 26-May-20 18:11:14

It would make me feel good if he was interested in something of mine.

pixxie Tue 26-May-20 18:08:33

I just hand it over and let him do it, doesn't last long!

davpay Tue 26-May-20 17:51:29

No issue!
