it ends badly for him

helen0903 Tue 26-May-20 11:08:53

My other half tends to pretend he is not interested in what I am doing but I know he secretly is so I welcome him to get involved

Sarah1271 Tue 26-May-20 11:41:25

Depends what it is, if he does it wrong I wait til he's finished then do it my way lol

cathyov Tue 26-May-20 11:41:56

He always says he is just trying to help so how can I be upset by that?!

audidude27 Tue 26-May-20 11:54:59

Don't mind at all.

josiew Tue 26-May-20 12:00:50

I don't have anyone to share with any more,so it is all down to me!

icequeenie76 Tue 26-May-20 12:41:01

I don't mind at all, he's not really interested in things I do so it would be quite nice. smile

lynmoo Tue 26-May-20 12:42:04

Keep your hands off ?

black5 Tue 26-May-20 12:44:30

I am claiming things to be mine !? - The question just sounds selfish to me

Daph Tue 26-May-20 12:53:25

I no longer have a partner, but when we were together, I much preferred working without him.
My daughter and I ended up working together on things like putting together flat pack furniture, we did a better job, taught my teenage daughter life skills, and no temper tantrums and swearing.

1969angep Tue 26-May-20 13:00:34

I usually get annoyed because he's not doing it the "right" way! We tend to stick to our own thing lol

elodie17 Tue 26-May-20 13:04:02

I like him showing an interest in what interests me although its all about balance as its healthy to have our space too

babcia Tue 26-May-20 13:46:44

He never does

candyfloss79 Tue 26-May-20 13:56:58

I try to be OK with it, but seethe inside!

reddimackem Tue 26-May-20 14:16:58

She's better than me at half the stuff anyway so I sometimes welcome the intrusion . Also makes for a quiet life

GrannyHaggis Tue 26-May-20 14:22:46

He gets VERY bored and leaves me to get on with my 'things'!

Dawn07 Tue 26-May-20 14:28:54

Everything is better when shared with a friend! xx

katfje Tue 26-May-20 14:30:46

I find a job for him to do!

Yolostela Tue 26-May-20 14:43:47

I always made tasty quiche, he's now decided to make it three times. I just let him get on with it.

hedgie Tue 26-May-20 14:50:40

Hmm, he can look but he can't touch....except when I'm cooking, then he can't look either! wink

Rosscoe Tue 26-May-20 14:59:38

I don't mind, as long as there's no takeover bid.

BendyBenji Tue 26-May-20 15:22:47

Depends if it's something I want them to or not so either shared joy or silent seething.

Dollyfair Tue 26-May-20 15:30:19

To be honest sometimes I get a bit fed up. Its nice to have things for you only. I would not dream of getting involved in stuff he likes - golf, football etc. Its important to have your own interests.

Beccaxxx Tue 26-May-20 15:46:33

I share everything with my partner however I will not share my wine!

niruhack Tue 26-May-20 16:27:12

My husband is not very crafty, and i love craft. so he likes to keep his distance. but with house chores we do things together.
