I love my partner to be involved in anything I do but most of the time he doesn't want to be involved in anything. Well you can't win.

My DH retired and almost immediately took over every thing from the garden to the kitchen as he didn't have a hobby. It drove me mad, I had to go round and do the jobs properly after him. Fortunately he saw one of his friends had a model railway and now spends all his time making railway models and leaves me to carry on as I did before, thank goodness for boys toys.

Share, that's why we are togetherHubby can use anything of mine and since we have been on lockdown he has been a great help.

I would abandon any my project if my husband got involved as everything would need to be done his way and not how I preffered to do it

My husband will sometimes get involved in gardening, which is mostly my domain. Generally we work well together, but i do occasionally get annoyed if he changes something drastically, without talking it over with me.

Always happy to share in anything I’m doing, although I really can’t see him expressing an interest in my knitting or crocheting!! ?

It's always nice to do things together.

If I’m honest, I’m not a huge fan of it purely because, if that’s my ‘thing’ I find it very personal to me and I’d be worried that he’d take it over or turn it into some sort of competition!

Just hope he tidies up after himself

To be honest there isn't that much that I do that he isn't already involved in (we have similar tastes & enjoy the same things). I would welcome him getting involved in more cooking (as long as he didn't do it all!)

I'd love if he wanted to, or got involved with 'MY' stuff. But we both do our own things.

I underwent a knee replacement at the end of January - this meant a few painful weeks at home, where moving around was on crutches and doing any type of cooking was really difficult. So hubby took over (with plenty of spoken advice from yours truly ie. where's the kitchen?) but now I am back to normal he insists on 'helping' but won't cook a whole meal!!!

Usually disaster! I love doing things together but I usually get frustrated when he doesn't follow my instructions ??

Depends on what it is, if its home things he usually takes over as he is better at diy stuff, other stuff he will help and provide input but we usually end up doing together

Some things I love him joining in with me ie: gardening and walking, but dare he come in the kitchen and interfere he gets my back up!

I like his input, most of the time, but normally discuss how it makes us feel. It is the same for him when I try something he normally does.

It usually ends up in disaster! He tries to help but sometimes I just like to do some things on my own. It's my feminist streak xx
