To be honest my husband doesn't tend to get involved in my things, as they are usually boring things like meal planning and shopping. However, if I try to get involved in his DIY projects.... It usually ends in an exchange of words ?
It depends what it is, sometimes I might just leave him to it. But if he gets involved with something and then starts giving me advice and how he does it better or should be done I get very cross!
He always manages to do what activity it is, and usually better than me I bought a sewing machine to learn to sew, so far i haven't learnt to thread it Mr Northern has made curtains, and home made face masks I tried to make a macrame plant hanger mr Northern finished it I just have to accept hes better at crafts than me
It upsets me! I always feel that he thinks I cannot do it on my own and need help, whereas I feel I am perfectly capable. Sometimes I get grumpy with him though I do try not to.
There's nothing off limits for me. If he wants to get involved in my interests I don't mind. If he demanded it it however, or became pushy, we would have words. lol.
I love gardening but my partner tries to help by pulling up my plants saying he thought it was a weed. He also tells me off for cutting the grass to often. I wish he would find his own hobby.
I’m more than happy for my wife to get involved in any interests I have It’s our 25th wedding Anniversary this year and try as I have I still haven’t been successful in getting her involved in my love of gaming - I can but dream
I am happy when my partner gets involved with something that is mine because it shows that he takes an interest in things I do. I am disappointed when he doesn't show interest.
My Partner is very good at doing everything and I'm happy for him to be involved and helping in something I consider to be mine... he usually does a better job than me !
When my partner takes up an interest I have had for a long time, they soon become an “expert” in whatever it is and start giving me helpful tips about how to do it better. I can find it annoying or just smile and agree.
