I love thrillers! They make you go on a journey and take you out of yourself, they get you thinking and trying to guess outcomes, it’s real escapism. It’s hard to choose my favourite but one that stood out was Flowers for the Dead by Barbara Copperthwaite

My fave book is The Talented Mr Riply - the plot is so twisty. That's exactly what I enjoy about crime thrillers, when the plot twists and turns and the reader just doesn't know what's coming next.

bobistheboss Fri 16-Apr-21 18:40:48

I love to read thrillers for all the twists and turns of the plot and guessing who did the deed. I think my favorite would be Jane Corry I looked away but there are so many I have enjoyed.

I love reading lots of genres, and enjoy Val McDermids books, and C J Tudors. The scariness and suspense makes for a great read.

My favourite are the Inspector Ikmen crime/thriller books set In Istanbul. I love the suspense and intrigue and you get the ‘can’t put down’ feeling wanting to know what’s going to happen next. The exotic setting and cultural/historical elements add some extra flavour too.
