I love the twists and turns that keep you turning the page and not want to put a book down.
As for my favourite I think I will go for Before I Go To Sleep by S J Watson as I have read it quite recently in one go and I did not guess the ending!

I've been reading crime/thriller books for the last 30 odd years so it's really hard to pick a favourite. I love the Agatha Raisin books when I'm in the mood for an easy read but also authors like Lee Child and John Grisham when I want something to really get my teeth into.

Mine is The Silent Patient by Jasper DeWitt, which I hear is being turned into a film! I love thrillers because I love stories with twists in that keep you guessing until the very end. It's quite addictive! The Silent Patient has one of the best twists I think I have ever read. Fantastic!

Any James Patterson are good for me

My favourite thriller lately has been They all fall down, by Tammy Cohen.

I really, really loved this. There were so many twists and turns and a couple of surprises that I really didn’t see coming. As someone who reads a lot of domestic thrillers, I was delighted by this, as I usually predict what’s going to happen.

I’m a lover of intriguing crime novels. It’s their mix of jigsaw puzzle solving and Big Dipper rides and I absolutely love the thrill of both!
One of my favourites is Bloodline by Mark Billingham as I enjoy his style of writing and great characterisation with a bit of gore!!

I love reading thrillers, so many to choose from, but I do enjoy the books by Dan Brown

I read a lot of crime thrillers, what I particularly like about Peter James and the Roy Grace series of books is the drama and suspense. I like to try to figure out what is going on. As they are set in my home town of Brighton I can imagine them more vividly. Reading a good crime thriller takes you to another place. I believe Peter James books are the new classic's to savour and enjoy. I loved the tv series but you cant beet reading the book and immersing yourself into the characters. Some books can be life changing which I beleive applies to crime thrillers.

I enjoyed The Silent Patient by Alex Michaelides it kept me gripped to the end. I love the journey of a good thriller with twists and turns and the guessing of the ending which I usually get wrong!

Love any of the books written by Kathy Reichs and serialised on tv as Bones . Great scene setting writing from the ‘ macabre’ depths of forensic medicine and historical cases of murder. Not my usual type of books but a great introduction to these that has now led to them being one of my all time favourites

'The Neighbor' by DEAN KOONTZ. I am a massive fan of thriller books because I absolutely love the adrenaline, thrill and suspense it gives, allowing you not to book the book to bed any time soon!

One of my favorites at the moment is Martina Cole. I've discovered her late, I'm enjoying The Jump at the moment. I love the suspense involved in a good thriller, getting to know the characters. It's like a film playing out in your head, magic escapism at its best!

missymorgan Wed 12-May-21 07:08:47
