He'll be reading all the wrappers in future grin

The really funny thing, is that after years of being a Cadbury addict, he had actually stopped buying anything in the Cadbury range since ‘they’ ruined our old favourite. This purchase was rather unusual. Anyway, decided not to mention it to the family today, bad enough me taking the micky since. The crossed fingers are supposed to be in one of 101 boxes across the UK. What are the chances 🤦🏻‍♀️.

Won’t buy anything that has palm oil in it.

Oh My God!

Talk about bad luck. I think you are taking this very well .You must be devastated.

If it was my Darling Husband l would have him down the local recycling centre/ landfill site on his hands and knees. Searching day and night for this empty box.

That is. If l had let him live in the first place and hadn't already killed him.

Also definite grounds for a divorce and a crime of passion just for prize money alone.

Also I'll wouldnt trust the Mondelez Company Who now own Cadbury and are part of the Kraft Food Mega Empire as far as l could throw then.

And like most greedy global monster American companies can't make enough profit. Think how expensive Cadbury chocolate products now are.

This promotion was obviously to boost Mothers Day and Easter Sales.

It would be interesting to know just how many of these special winning chocolate boxes did go out on public sale. And how many are actually found by the public.

Don't ever let your husband forget what he did. I think his mistake has a lot of mileage in it. If you know what l.mean.😉

Best Wishes

Many years ago my DH mentioned the ‘joke’ message hidden in the toilet roll, a winning ticket for £10,000. He said one of the children must have done it.

We thought nothing of it but the next day whilst emptying the bin I realised it was a genuine win and we hadn’t noticed the competition notice on the outer wrapper!

It came in very handy at the time as we were on quite a tight income.

Wow! What great luck to have found it in time Fairislecable. That’s a lovely story.

Oh gosh! Are you building a new patio….. think I might have!

Luckily migey, we’ve managed to laugh it off (despite still thinking about it). I don’t think we’ll tell the family on Sunday. Might keep this one quiet.

He literally only knew about them when he went to buy more (self catering while I was away 🥴) Maggiemaybe. When he told me, I don’t know why but were laughed so much my tummy hurt. I couldn’t believe it. I do keep thinking about it, but I’m convincing myself it was one of the £50 prizes. The recycling went the day he binned the box and the info and he didn’t even look twice I imagine.

Oh no! Have you started speaking again yet? grin

There should have been a winning ticket in the pack, with details of how to claim. Did he recycle that as well?

Cadburys have put a crossed pair of chocolate fingers in 101 boxes across the UK for potential winners to find and collect a monetary prize. The top prize is £20,000 with various other amounts down to £50. Anyway, I was away for a couple of days last week and guess who ate a whole box over a couple of days, including one of the 101 crossed pairs. My dh only heard about the competition a couple of days afterwards. The box carries a QR code to indicate the prize apparently, I would have loved to have seen it was a lower value prize but we’ll never know as it went out with the recycling. I really hope somebody wins the big prize and he hasn’t eaten it.
