Hello flowerfriend and tanith I'm from Cardiff and was brought with with Welsh cakes cooked on a griddle. After my mother died 25 years ago, my father, who died last year at the age of 93, used to make his own until a year or two ago.
I also love lavabread from Cardiff Market. Rolled in oatmeal and with bacon - yum, yum! Really love that market. I went two years ago for the first time in 30 years and it hasn't changed a bit, still got wonderful fish stall and the animals and birds upstairs.
This is the best I can do for daffodils!
