Nothing else comes close.

Not even chocolate.

Especially not chocolate, in my case!

Hmmm. Milk chocolate a close second for me. Not dark though! Eeurgh! Don't care if it is better for you!

And you can smell like vanilla ice cream if you get Body Shop Vanilla Body Butter! Even better, Spiced Vanilla Body Butter, but you can't always get it.

Oh no. You've got to be able to actually eat it.

Not keen on smells that are meant to be tastes. IYSWIM

When my mother became doubly incontinent she used to ask me to buy vanilla scented air freshener for her room, so I always associate it with unpleasant smells. Therefore it has to be the scent of chocolate for me every time, especially the nutty sort.

Who says it's just meant to be just a taste? Vanilla is an ingredient of many perfumes. I like it, possibly because it reminds me of good fudge.

Ooh yes! I love fudge!

The Body Shop used to do lovely vanilla sugar scents, including room freshener spray - there's something so enticing about the smell of warm vanilla. I wish they still did it.
