Thanks for the info, I have downloaded the manual to my iPad and promptly lost it somehow. It must be lurking in cyber space somewhere though.

this is the 901 which I had when I started out. Replaced it later with the Chef Major. Attachments the same.

On mine it's the slow speed outlet and the mincer, the slicer and shredder, the coffee mill, the bean slicer and pea bullet and the can opener, go there.

Have been using my inherited chef for a couple of weeks, really like it. There was no manual, no attachments. Does anyone know what the red lever is and what if anything is behind the front name plate?
