Has anyone done a survey on which are the best shop bought ones?

Don't think I can be bothered to make them this year. It's the fiddly white paste crosses. hmm

I've no idea about the best commercially available hot cross buns but I am sufficiently old-fashioned, set in my ways and fuddy duddy to be outraged by the addition of chocolate. shock

No idea, trying to avoid opening the cupboard (where the packet which arrived with the grocerys last night from Tesco) sits smelling delicious, once the family have demolished them I will gather the scores and let you knowgrin

I will not be tempted,Iwill not be tempted, I will not be tempted.

We have a local bakery chain called "Truffles" and they sell the best hot cross buns. But I'm really surprised to find that the Co-op's own brand (not the healthy option type) are also very good
