I often find that big boxes of dry cat food are actually more expensive per gramme than the smaller ones.

Aldi is selling 625g Malted Wheaties for 95p. They are very tasty.

ASDA have done this best value trick with Yorkshire tea. Its worth checking each time to see which packs are best value.

In general never buy fruit and veg that are pre-bagged in some way.
They can cost a heck of a lot more than buying them loose. The calculating isn't easy as if they are prepacked they don't have to display price per KG.
Sneaky beggars these supermarkets.

Waitrose is selling 750gms Shreddies for £1 .60(half price ) and the 500gms size for £2.49.It certainly pays to look at all the sizes.

Tesco were also selling Branston baked beans for 50p each or four for £2.50! Do they really think people are stupid? Though I guess there must be plenty who don't check and just assume the multipack is better value.

Yesterday in Tesco they were selling 160 Tetley teabags for £3 and on the shelf below 240 for £3 .... the top shelf was nearly empty. They also had a deal on 80 Tetley tea bags I think it was £2.29 buy one get one free.. I plumped for the 240 for £3
