I think any machine will do it, but someone who uses one can probably answer that better than me. If you do need to add ingredients partway through the process, it can generally be done by hand. A lot of programmes have a pause where a bell rings to remind you to put them in.

My husband is the keeper of the bread machine and he advises the Panasonic with dispenser. This is what we have and it does produce wonderful seedy bread.

I have the non dispenser type after my dispenser one bust!
I find no difference.
It's only if you want to add mushy things like olives or sundries tomatoes that you need a dispenser, but as the machine beeps when it's time to add them I wouldn't bother.

Our problem with the beep rather than the dispenser was that it meant hanging around until the exact moment things needed to be added.

I can hear it from lounge

I used to make my own bread by hand but can't see the point when I now have two artisan bread shops within a mile of my house. Though I did love that smell of bread fresh from the oven.
