I spent £1.80 for four small blood oranges. Thought I had been done but they were the most wonderful dark blood oranges I have ever seen. The flesh was almost purple.

Waitrose have the Seville oranges in. Hubble bubble this weekend.
I also has a most delicious navel orange yesterday - asda 5 for a quid! I forget how nice they can be.

I am waiting poised for the bitter Seville oranges. We opened the last remaining jar from last year for our Christmas guests. Its really good and tangy. No Golden Shred in sight here.

Plenty of seville oranges in Normandy. We have 28 lbs of marmalade made and in the larder. (We give a lot away to French neighbours).

Oh lovely. It is the season to be eating citrus. Are the Seville oranges in stock yet? Will not be able to resist marmalade eating despite the encouragement it gives to eat more toast and bread.

Ooooh - bought some today after seeing them for the first time this year. Such a delicious treat! They also make wonderful marmalade although it does tend to come out very sweet, more like jam, but such a lovely flavour. Grab some while you can as they don't stay around for very long.
