Gratin Dauphinoise, make lots, freeze in batches and keep the calorie count down by consuming over the next month.

The nannyfran recipe is the one I thought of as well, the sliced potato and onion layered 'pie' with cheese on top and the cream poured over then cooked in a hot oven.MMMMMMMMN! Also nice drizzled onto your porridge.

My American friend would use it as a base for a pasta sauce, or make a batch of corn bread.

Quiches, rice pudding, macaroni cheese, sliced potato and onion par boiled and then baked in the cream with grated cheese on top.All mega calories, but who cares!

After a party last night I have nearly a pint of single cream left over. Any creative cooks on here who can give me some good ideas for using it up? I hate to waste yummy food.
