Looking at the Sugar in Food thread, I just wondered what the most unusual breakfast among gransnetters will be. I'm in an eat whatever's kicking around mood and today I've had:

An over-lemoned (put juice in as well as grated zest) date slice
A pot of Assam Harmutty tea with whole milk (only kind we buy)

The above is my usual "dew bit" (c/f Thomas Hardy, Jude). Sometimes nutty flapjack instead of date slice.

A pear
A paté sandwich (forgotten what kind of paté but it's a good one from Waitrose and it needs using up)
Mug of teabag tea

Two mugs of Breakfast tea.
One slice of toast with plum jam.
One cheese straw (in a weak moment).

Apricot and fig slice, two mugs of tea (Kenyan "lively and refreshing")
Two slices of toast and marmalade, more tea ditto
Apricot and fig slice, tea (Assam "rich and robust")
Massive double chocolate cookie, tea ditto
Chicken and mushroom soup (homemade)
A conglomeration of avocado, shrimps, chorizo, cottage cheese and tomato.

Will prob have some more tea (cheapo teabag) anon

I had a lovely pudding at the garden centre today. It was blackcurrant, vanilla and elderberry sponge. With vanilla ice cream. Really nice. Also had bangers and mash. Only toast for rest of evening.

Again:
Boiled egg and tablespoon of baked beans for breakfast.
Green salad and turkey breast for lunch.
I'll be having home-made veggie soup for dinner.
Snack was half a slice of the WM's delicious home-made bread with a scrape of butter and half a teaspoon of strawberry jam that just took me back to the lovely warm, summer's day I made it.
[Yearns for warm, summer days - or at least for a hint that spring is on its way.]
