We also have a CO-op convenience store which has its uses, but it's not good for fresh produce and although it claims to being 'fair trade', how is it fair trade to sell American fruit when there is plenty of British fruit on the market?

I am afraid sex equality laws may have something to do with this Nonu rather than the Co-op Bank.

It would be a sad day if the Co-op shop went under.
We only have a convenience one nearby, but I would shop there in preference to Waitrose if the Co-op sold a wider range of fresh produce.

We have a joint account with the CO=op bank !
The other day we BOTH received a letter telling us very grateful they were to us for sticking by them ,blah, blah blah .
Excuse me would it not have saved some money to send us and people like us a joint letter !

(Nonu scratches head)

I thought the problem was with the Co-op Bank rather than the store.
The CEO has got out because he's upset that someone leaked about his enormous bonus. He's been there less than a year, I think.

I am getting worried.

I have put this under food rather than In the News because my late evening get-out-of-trouble dash to grab something to feed Himself, seems to be possibly threatened. <chews nails>
