Poached salmon with crusty bread and salad, followed by raspberries and cream. I have simple tastes!

Like you merlot I would have difficulty choosing, particularly if someone else was cooking! I do quite like smoked haddock with crusty brown bread and butter, and kippers are the sort of thing I suddenly think - "OH! I WOULD LOVE A KIPPER"! but not necessarily a favourite meal.

Baked aubergine with buckwheat noodles and a thick tomato sauce, followed by an apricot and almond tart.

I don't have a favourite meal. I like EVERYTHING. grin

I would also happily settle for what Deedaa is cooking grin

My absolute favourite, which I would eat every night if I didn't end up getting sick of eating it, is scampi, coleslaw and petit pois (not common peas thank you very much) - delicious.

I also love smoked haddock, mashed potato, green beans and sauce made from the milk that the fish has been cooked in.

If there happens to be an apple and raspberry pie or raspberry trifle hanging around, I'll eat some of that as well!

Can't beat breakfast! Eggs, bacon, beans, tomatoes and perhaps a couple of hash browns - followed by a large pot of tea and toast and marmalade.

Yes, yes, bring it on, tp!

Mine is much simpler !!!!

Shepards Pie ( crunchy cheese on top) + mashed turnip/swede - (the orange one !), Apple Pie and custard washed down with a pot of tea.

Alternatively Yorkshire Puds and a good beef gravy hits the spot.

Smoked salmon & sour cream, followed by beef Wellington, roast potatoes & root vegetables, then Caerphilly cheese and white grapes, next tiramisu, Irish coffee and after eights. Red and white wine. Anybody else?
