it was really nice actually.
I cooked the beef for about an hour and half and made some rice with it and really enjoyed it.

just being nosy Trevor, did you make your beef curry in the end?
If so, how was it ?

Good?

Trevor47 Thu 24-Jul-14 16:35:28

thanks for that Flick
I'll start getting it ready in a few minutes.
Thanks again.

Cook it long and low for optimum results, R2, 4 hours but R4, 2 hours will also work.

Trevor47 Thu 24-Jul-14 14:09:31

OK
Thanks
and Will Do Nonu.

Well I would have said cook it in the sauce so that is can absorb all the flavour of the curry. Else , may end up tasting pretty bland which you don"t really want.

Let us know tomm. how it went. Good luck !

I Just want the meat to be as Tender as Possible
But I don't want it to be cooking for Too Long!
Also is beef curry better cooked in a sauce or without do you Know?
Thanks for answering Nonu.
I'll let you know how it tastes tomorrow.

Trevor47 Thu 24-Jul-14 13:58:41

right.

Nonu Thu 24-Jul-14 13:47:19

Also I add salt at the end as that can make the meat a little tough{don"t ask me why}I don"t know why, just experience!

Nonu Thu 24-Jul-14 13:43:01

I always put a little vinegar in the mix, helps to tenderise the meat !

I'm planning to cook a beef curry this evening
And I would appreciate some advice on how long to cook it for?
I want it to be as tender as possible and I won't be using anything except water and seasoning.
Thanks.
