Blackberries

Blackberry cobbler. This is a favourite with our family.

Just made a gf version of this which was delicious; didn't use that much sugar though

GC made a lovely smoothie with the ones they picked from our garden

Mixed with greek yoghourt and eaten fresh.

Mixed into a salad. Or into couscous salad.

Made into a cordial.

Mixed with lots of other fruits to make a summer pudding.

Stirred into muffin mix.

Thanks for that link! I love blackberries all the more for their part in the downfall of that dreadful Fanny Craddock! I remember her shows- she had her husband Johnny scuttling round after her like a scullery maid.

I read yesterday about the bumper crop of wild berries that have ripped weeks early.I know what I'll be doing at the weekend
Mine all go to make pies and crumbles which are given to friends and neighbours when the freezers full.
