Blackberry cobbler. This is a favourite with our family.

Just made a gf version of this which was delicious; didn't use that much sugar though

Mixed with greek yoghourt and eaten fresh.

Mixed into a salad. Or into couscous salad.

Made into a cordial.

Mixed with lots of other fruits to make a summer pudding.

Stirred into muffin mix.

Thanks for that link! I love blackberries all the more for their part in the downfall of that dreadful Fanny Craddock! I remember her shows- she had her husband Johnny scuttling round after her like a scullery maid.
What memories, and how different from today's TV chefs. (Michel Roux for example)

The humble blackberry led to the downfall of the insufferable Fanny Craddock

If you don't want to watch her in all her pompous glory trying to make an idiot of poor Gwen Troake, run it forward to 5:11 grin

I read yesterday about the bumper crop of wild berries that have ripped weeks early.I know what I'll be doing at the weekend smile
Mine all go to make pies and crumbles which are given to friends and neighbours when the freezers full.

Have just brought in a super crop of blackberries from the garden. Thanks to this wonderful summer, the berries are beautiful.
Apart from the obvious things like jam or apple and blackberry crumble, I'd like to ask, What would you do with a crop of blackberries ?
