I am currently watching a programme on BBC 1 about our food and am amazed how many members of the public don't know what it stands for or even recognise it, or several other logos found on food packaging. One woman whom I'd estimate to be 50ish didn't even know where she would see the lion mark shock

tractor just means farm fresh doesn't it whatever that means? I think that if you want animals to be treated as well as possible without going veggie it is best to be organic as that I think are the highest standards of animal welfare.

Red tractor means it's British bred and the animal husbandry is regularly inspected.
