A tent, not a hall
And see what contestants can make

There is a bread baker called Paul,
At whose feet the ladies all fall.
A flash of blue eyes
If a cake doesn't rise
And into the corner they crawl!

There's a comp to be had for the taking,
If you make up a rhyme about baking.
Sponge cakes or scones,
big or little ones,
all are a joy to be making.
So my cap i do doth, to the British Bake Off,
for making my tastebuds awaken !

TV Mary, a brilliant baker,
Inspired the whole nation to make her
Yummiest pastries and pies!
But sadly we all, girls and guys,
Have grown now so fat we could shake her!

There once was a Gran from Wyke
Whose buns her Grandson did not like,
So she took our her gin,
Gave an almighty grin
And now her fresh buns have a spike

I wish i really didn't like cake,
As you can see a fat me it does make,
But the smell in the kitchen when i bake,
Makes me really love eating cake,
But i really wish i didn't for my belly's sake!

There was a nice lady called Mary
Who thought she'd bake cakes called fairy
To herself she did mutter
I now need some butter
So she trotted off down to the dairy

Oh, what to win books by Mary Berry,
It's sure to make my week so merry,
Just waiting to hear word,
That I've come first, not second or third,
Sure to make me happy, so very.

But first a limerick on cake,
Or bread, scones, other things we bake,
So get comfortable, take a seat,
Put the oven on, turn up the heat,
But not too much, for Mary's sake!

So clear your throat, let out a cough,
It's finally time to Bake Off!
Turn down the heat, switch off the oven,
Carefully count your Baker's dozen,
Perfect cakes made to scoff!

Most painful post of the day?
Hear collective groans,
Cringing and moans,
But still, the first to lead the way!)
