I love my soup maker but my soups always taste the same (something to do with me just using veg and stock I guess)
Do you have any favourite recipes? I use a Morphy Richards jug soup maker

I've just bought mine Kayteeb and will be trying it out today. Celery soup, as per the menu book that came with the MR jug.

Ive just got my new tefal one. I'll try it out tomorrow. Probably celery and stilton

Nice idea about the Stilton tho I think I'll sprinkle some on top.

Looking forward to your results! I used to love Heinz celery soup but can't seem to find it these days

HELP. I tried to make soup in my soup maker. I followed the instructions. I used the sauté function, and it seemed to work. So far so good. I then stopped that function after 4 mins and the light turned red. I fitted the lid. It didn't click as its meant to, although I turned it every way. Then the mode button didn't come on so I was unable to select 'smooth'. The contents are now simmering away in the saucepan. Feeling very disappointed.
The problem seems to lie with the lid as it refused to beep, as described in the step- by-step instructions.
I wondered if anyone else had had this problem ? What have I done wrong ? sad

mine doesn't have a sauté function so can't help. But I do remember having to turn off at the mains before changing mode. Perhaps worth a try with just water in it?
